A course for ultra beginners, proposed by Ariane and co-prepared with Nitya
Course aim:
Acquire the fundamentals of astrology. These fundamentals are first and foremost linked to the symbolic language of this discipline, to the way it is already written. We'll be learning a "new language" with its new symbols (including visual ones).
To be able to synthesize a natal chart one day, i.e. to put what it says in order, you need to be able to work on bits and pieces.
Things are repeated many times in a theme, and it's by practicing small concepts that you'll make progress on the overall understanding of what you yourself have to accomplish in your life (and which is mapped out in your theme) or what concerns the person whose theme you want to help with their current problems.
To do this, we will work theoretically on the pillars (or "fundamentals") of the theme:
- The structure of the natal chart, how to read it, how it is constructed, its geography, the symbols that are written on it, which ones to look at first, and how to visually immerse yourself in the person to whom it corresponds.
- The signs : it is necessary to have a clear idea of each force/energy that is the sign, because this force "animates" in a way the "matter" brought by the planets. To do this, we will work on the different levels of "meaning" of each sign, because as with everything on earth, the meaning can be very visible and concrete or much more subtle. The idea is to teach you how to identify the full range of meanings of the signs and to be able to recognize their variations. To do this, the study will be methodical and structured thematically in relation to psychological fields of reference (the most visible and most often described level), but also and above all psychoanalytical, mythological, and references to alchemy and spirituality. Indeed, all these layers of knowledge allow us to grasp the level at which the sign takes on meaning and, above all, the evolution that is required.
- The planets : each planet allows us to read the very structure of man, that is, the mechanisms by which we function. For each planet, we will look at their goals and their system of action.
- The 12 houses : the key to understanding the houses is to see each one as a field of experience that evolves with our lives and our ages. Here again, we will go through each house in detail and find the common thread of this wheel that represents all areas of our lives.
- The elements or the number 4 : this is a very important theme because it refers to our preferred way of functioning or, conversely, to what seems foreign to us. This theme will be addressed through the study of signs.
These pillars need to be known and mastered, as they are present in every theme, and their variations allow us to focus on the analysis of what the person has to do in his or her life - and which is described very precisely by his or her theme.
There will be some personal work to do and we will do exercises and homework on each of these themes:
- so that you can get to grips with the fundamentals of a theme in a strict manner, while keeping an eye on your own filtersIt's important to understand that, before being an astrologer, you're a person with character traits and a personal way of thinking, so it's also your chart that's superimposed on what you read in other people's charts.
- so that you can use this as a basis to work (and progress) on understanding your own theme.. You're lucky enough to know your chart from the inside, and to be a privileged observer. This is the best way to understand what a planet in a sign is "doing" in a house.
Course specificity:
We'll work on your themes at every session. It's this back-and-forth between theory and personal practice based on your chart that will enable you to better integrate both the basic astrological corpus and what your chart says about you, both what you are and what you're called to be. After this course, you'll benefit all the more from the more advanced courses as you'll already have cleared up a good number of personal issues - at least in theory😉 - after the living practical application will be the subject of your life.
Practical details :
This course on the pillars of astrology is co-prepared with Nitya.
It runs for 2 hours a week, every Saturday morning from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. by videoconference.
Possibly, depending on demand and the number of participants, a course may be opened on a weekday evening (Wednesday or Thursday) from 8pm to 10pm.
As the work is based on the participants' own themes, the group is limited to a maximum of 15 students. Homework is handed in and shared to enrich the whole group.
The price is 120 euros per month, for 8 hours per month (over 4 Saturdays).
The course runs for one year, from January 2026 to January 2027.
The course will be suspended during school vacations unless participants agree and are available to maintain the rhythm. Of course, if there are only two classes in a month due to vacations, then the price will be adjusted to 60 euros for the month.

Progress courses :
The idea is step-by-step, so each week will be an opportunity to work deeply on a theme. Excluding school vacations, we will have around 34 weeks of classes over the year.
- January-April 2026: 12 weeks of classes, 12 signs
- May-June and early September 2026: 10 weeks of classes, 10 planets
- September-December 2026: 12 weeks of classes, 12 houses
Lessons will be recorded so that you can make up a session if necessary.
The most important foundation will be the integration of astrological fundamentals in relation to your theme, as this is what will enable you to play the sign/house/planet keyboard in the most intimate way in relation to your own living experience of your theme.
In this respect, sharing homework in Classroom will be an incomparable way of learning from others.
Other astrological data will be covered, such as aspects, karmic points and the ascendant, but always in connection with learning about signs, planets and houses.
Of course, strict confidentiality will be respected, as will a common-sense ethic.
We'll move forward together with your questions, your experience and, of course, your level.
